Chargers Injury Report: Little progress for injured Bolts Thursday

From Wednesday through Thursday, there was very little movement, in any direction, for the Chargers’ laundry list of injuries.

Every player who DNP to start the week also sat out a second consecutive practice. All but one player who was capped on Wednesday was capped again. Cornerback Rodney Shelley was the only player to go from limited to DNP, further painting a dire picture for the cornerback room ahead of this week’s date with the Chiefs.

Although not placed on IR, offensive guard Kayode Awosika is trending toward missing his fourth game while rehabbing the fibula injury he suffered in Week Two.

Wide receivers Ladd McConkey, Quentin Johnston, and Brenen Thompson are all trending in the right direction while Tre’ Harris is DNP again. My question here is: Is it worth it to bring back your injured skill players a week before the bye against an undefeated opponent? I’m not sure, to be honest.
