It’s still early in the NFL season, but it’s getting to the point where some teams are starting to take a stand. Week 3 is when the teams start really gelling with each other, or the chemistry is very clearly lacking. It’s also an important week for teams to regroup after shaky starts or players.
The Baltimore Ravens and Dallas Cowboys have a lot going on when they meet in Brazil, making it one of the most intriguing games on Sunday’s NFL slate. It’s also our pick for the must-see game of the day.
For starters, this isn’t your average road game. The Ravens and Cowboys will make history at Rio de Janeiro’s iconic Maracana Stadium, giving the matchup an international backdrop unlike anything else on the schedule.
Then, there is star power. Lamar Jackson brings his electric dual-threat ability for Baltimore, while Derrick Henry gives the Ravens a strong presence in the running game. Dallas counters with Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens, giving the Cowboys plenty of firepower of their own.
Both teams enter Week 3 at 1-1, adding some early-season significance to the matchup. Throw in the unfamiliar surroundings, and there are many reasons this game could be more fun from the opening kickoff.
